doodles / the brain on analog

Since a young age drawing has held the same allure for me as reading. I enjoy using it to communicate and share ideas every day.

I recently read that we access a different part of our brain when we draw or sketch than when we’re doing digital design using tools like Figma, Illustrator, or Photoshop. It’s as if our brains are on analog when we’re drawing.

At best I’m a hobbyist photographer. My chef background as a classically trained chef helps when it comes to creating food that is as pleasing to the palette as it is to the eye.
